Important Brexit Information
The United Kingdom is scheduled to leave the European Union on the 29th March 2019. Whilst there is still uncertainty on the terms and conditions of any deal, MCL InsureTech Ltd, trading as Boxymo.ie position is as follows:
MCL InsureTech currently passports from the United Kingdom into the Republic of Ireland market and in the event of a hard Brexit with no transition period it is envisaged that these passporting rules will no longer apply. As a result of this MCL InsureTech is currently applying to be directly regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland and it is envisaged that there will be no change in our service after the 29th March 2019.
We can also confirm that all of our policies are currently underwritten by an insurer regulated from within the EEA so all policies will be valid after 29th March.
